Robert Reeves

Capstone Project Advisor

Robert Reeves is an Adjunct Professor and Project Advisor in the EDS Department and formerly a Professor of Practice in the Mining Engineering Department where he develops and teaches on-line graduate-level curriculum and lectures undergraduate mining engineering classes.

He has over 40 years’ experience in the extractive and processing industries developing and commercializing novel concepts to upgrade solid fuels, recover valuable materials from municipal solid waste and associated combustion biproducts. Previously with Hazen Research, Inc., he managed coal, environmental, and material handling projects. He has received numerous United States and foreign patents as the inventor of novel processes and materials for his clients. Robert has received a BS Mining Engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines.
