Roxann Hayes

Adjunct Faculty

Roxann has over 25 years of traffic engineering, project management, and government experience. She has a current professional engineering license in the State of Colorado, issued in 2001. Since 2008, she has owned and operated a small consulting business since 2008, specializing in traffic impact studies and project management. Roxann started her career in education in 2005, teaching Mechanics of Materials and Senior Design at the Colorado School of Mines on a part-time basis. In 2011, Roxann became a full-time Senior Instructor (Clinical Teaching Track) at the University of Colorado-Denver, and has taught a variety of undergraduate and graduate level traffic and transportation engineering courses. Her courses highlight multi-modal design with context sensitive solutions. She has also worked for UCD’s Continuing Engineering Education Program, teaching the transportation specialty of the professional engineering exam.
